For this month’s meeting, we have a VERY special presenter. Editor Zack Arnold, editor from such TV shows as Empire and Burn Notice, will be joining us to talk about the art and craft of editing. Using examples from his work, he’ll talk about working in the industry and making the creative decisions that help tell move the story forward.
He’ll also talk about his other passion – Fitness in Post. As editors, we sit…a lot! Staying healthy and working in post-production can be hard to do. But Zack has developed a system to help editors stay fit and feeling good.
Let me just say that this is going to be a very special meeting, one which you will NOT want to miss. I am highly encouraging you all to be there – I want to see every seat filled. And before anyone asks, it will not be taped so you’ll have to be there for what I’m sure is going to be an amazing evening.
And since this will be about the craft of editing and not NLE specific, our fellow editors over at the FCP X User Group will be joining us, so make them feel welcome.
And if all that wasn’t enough…how about raffling off a year of Creative Cloud for some lucky guest? Not enough – how about we raffle off two of them! Yup – we’ll be doing that.
