The 3rd annual San Diego MediaPro Camp is a unique all-day forum of media professionals representing every discipline: acting and performing, producing and directing; creative and technical. Representing every medium: Film, TV, Radio; internet, games, business video, audio and more.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The topics are provided in a series of roundtable discussions on any subject the participants choose. You can create a topic for discussion and form a group… or sit in on any group or any topic you choose. MediaPro Camp features multiple breakout sessions every half hour, providing intensely productive insight, and is fabulous for networking.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It's an exciting cross-pollination of useful ideas, techniques and information. Interactivity between all of the participants guarantees a powerful experience for everyone. Bring your personal expertise and plenty of questions (everybody contributes). Laptops are useful but optional. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n\t\tPhilip Hodgetts is a recognized authority on the changing nature of the digital landscape and has an enviable record of accurately predicting the implications of changing technology over the last decade. He has an unusual blend of technical, creative and business skills that he applies to the worlds of digital production, post production and distribution.  A technologist, editor, industry pundit, podcasting veteran and specialist in new distribution, Philip has 30 years experience in production and post; since 1994 all in the digital realm.<\/span><\/p>\n

He is primarily now a writer, presenter and software developer, speaking and writing on topics from creativity to the future of QuickTime and Final Cut Pro. He continues to focus on the business of production and distribution, attempting to crack the code of how we fund quality entertainment in the future, and speed up the process of post. His company just released the first software to accurately transfer FCP7 projects to FCPX. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
